Frome Bathroom Showroom Manager

 

Escape Bathrooms at Frome is the flagship showroom for the Total Plumbing Supplies Escape retail brand.  This stunning showroom showcases some of the best brands in the industry from Duravit, Roca, Hansgrohe, Laufen, Crosswater and Merlyn.

The business is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bathroom showroom manager to oversee this highly reputable showroom, to drive the showroom forward and to own the profit and loss for this department.

The bathroom showroom manager will be responsible for 2-3 sales consultants, and also act in close partnership with the Regional Manager to ensure excellent customer service and the smooth running of the showroom on a daily basis and driving the business to meet and exceed budgets and margin targets.

The role:

  • Drive the showroom to meet sales and margin targets
  • Manage a team to ensure a sales focus whilst delivering the best products to our customers budgets from our preferred brands
  • Meeting with the team weekly to ensure a good understanding of sales pipeline and pre-empting any pressure points
  • Liaise with our account customers and associated businesses within the IBMG group to successfully grow the bathroom showroom turnover through associated installers, builders and developers
  • Ensure that the team greet customers in their showroom and build positive relationships with both retail and trade customers
  • Ensure orders are pro-actively managed from initial enquiry to completion across the team
  • Design and plan creative and functional bathrooms using Compusoft Innoplus design software
  • Ensure the showroom is well-presented, and all displays are always neat and also tidy
  • Take responsible for presenting new displays in the showroom, understanding their target market through designs, products, and also prices
  • Resolve any customer complaints, returns or issues as soon as possible, following our operating procedures and supplier conditions
  • Liaise with Director and Regional Manager to ensure smooth operation between showroom, kitchen showroom, plumbing sales and warehouse team
  • Maintain staff knowledge levels through training to ensure that they are fully conversant and also up-to-date with the current products within the showroom
  • Carry out site visits to customers’ homes using own car, or branch car

You:

  • Problem solver able to deliver alternative, innovative and also customer focused solutions
  • Previous experience of managing, engaging, and also motivating a small sales team

  • Able to manage a team to meet the requirements of the business on product offering and margin attainment
  • Have 3D design experience, ideally be familiar with Compusoft design software (not essential as training can be given)
  • Smart personal appearance
  • Ideally experienced in a similar position
  • Full UK driving licence

Package:

  • Monday to Friday and alternative Saturdays (as a minimum)
  • Salary will fully reflect your experience

Axminster Bathroom Sales 

 

Escape Bathrooms at Axminster is one of our smaller bathroom showrooms in the group.

The business is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic bathroom showroom sales person to oversee and drive the bathroom sales within this busy branch, reporting to the branch manager

The role:

  • Design and sell bathrooms to our retail and trade referral customers

The role:

  • Welcoming customers and leading them through the bathroom design and specification process

Kitchen Administrator

 

Escape Kitchens is the brand for kitchens within the Total Plumbing Supplies business.  In order to support our kitchen showroom sales and design team and ensure the highest levels of customer service we have a new vacancy for a Kitchen Administrator.

The role:

Support the sales team by offering a pro-active support to our team and liaising with both suppliers and customers to ensure we deliver the highest levels of customer service.

  • Co-ordination of customer appointments, both in store and site visits
  • Ensure that designers keep up to date with customer follow ups
  • Logging and managing of designers workload to ensure one week lead time for design and quote is achieved
  • Monitor system to provide an overview of all customer’s orders, monitor purchase order confirmations, chase up where necessary and keep customers updated on delayed items
  • Order progression and liaison with customers, suppliers, installers and designers
  • Arrange customer deliveries and email customer with delivery details
  • Arrange customer worktop templating and installation dates – keeping customer updated
  • Efficient and pro-active handling of customer remedials through liaising with customers, suppliers, installers and designers
  • Keep a record of all staff remedials and review on a monthly basis reporting back to Regional Director
  • Ensure payments are made by customers before any direct to site deliveries
  • Returns – ensure returns are collected and credit received in a timely manner
  • Work with the sales team to ensure quote banks are at required levels
  • Analytical approach to any ongoing or re-occurring issues
  • Liaising with our kitchen supply brands and challenging them when service proposition isn’t to our requirements
  • Email customers for feedback on completion of kitchen installation / worktop installation

You:

  • Highly organised and able to coordinate projects through to completion
  • Problem solver able to deliver customer focused solutions
  • Ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Excel
  • Ideally previous experience in an administration role
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Ability to think on your feet and resolve any issues that may arise

Hours and salary:

  • Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Location – To be based at either our Frome, Shepton Mallet or Honiton branches
  • Salary dependent on experience
